Lalitpur Patriots (LP) is also the name of one of the six franchisee teams that competes in the tournament organized by Everest Premier League (EPL). Lalitpur Patriots represents the district of Lalitpur and plays for its honor and pride which was handsomely showcased during the 2017 and 2018 editions of EPL. We are the defending champions! The team is owned by Mr. Kishore Maharjan and his wife, Mrs. Srijana Joshi Maharjan. Mr. Neeraz Koirala is the CEO, while Mr. Raju Basnet, the coach of U-19 South Korean cricket team, is the coach of Lalitpur Patriots. Mr. Kushal Bhurtel, currently the Opening Batter of the Nepal Cricket team, is the Marquee player as well as the captain for the team.
Lalitpur Patriots is scheduled to play matches against the other five teams once the tournament kick starts again in March 2020. The team is now undergoing thorough preparations and is looking forward to batting, bowling and fielding their way to triumph.
